Note to religious people....

Shut the fuck up!

You just knew it would happen the moment you heard about the school shooting.  The religious would be coming out of the woodwork declaring that either this was god punishing us for not letting him in schools or god didn’t act because he’s not allowed in schools.  The only question was how long would it take.  Unfortunately, it took almost no time at all.

One of the first items I saw was Mike Huckabee saying the reason for the school shooting was because we removed god from schools.  I guess we are lucky that Huckabee failed in his attempt to reach the Whitehouse because he’s obviously not educated properly in the constitution and the idea about separation of church and state.  You really should understand that religion never had a place in schools and removing it from them was a matter of the US correcting a long standing violation of the constitution.  You should also understand that removing his personal god from schools was the right thing to do since his personal imaginary friend in the sky is not the same mythological being that all other religious people worship.  This was a violation of the establishment clause and denied members of other faiths equal protection under the laws as well by establishing a preference for one religion over the all of the others.  Of course Huckabee isn’t a constitutional scholar much less anything more than a fucking idiot in the first place.
Then you have true scumbags like Bryan Fischer saying:
“God Didn't Stop CT School Shooting Because He's a 'Gentleman' Who Doesn't Go Where He Is Not Wanted.”
There’s really very little you can say about this type of bullshit except fuck you Bryan Fischer and your evil fucking imaginary god.  The truth is that you god doesn’t do anything in when these types of things happen because he doesn’t exist.  Just because your tiny brain can’t comprehend this and you are pissed off that you are not allowed to brainwash children while they are attending secular schools does not justify you spewing forth your hate speech.  People like you are despicable human beings and honestly you belong in an institution for the mentally insane, not on the radio abusing a forum to spread your hateful beliefs and rhetoric.
Then you had this idiotic fucking teeshirt showing up on the Facebook stream:
“Dear God, Why do you allow such violence in our schools? Signed a concerned Student
Dear Concerned Student, I’m not allowed in schools. Signed, God”
Same hateful message, different method of delivery.  All I can say is that fortunately I have yet to see some asshat wearing this shirt, although living in the bible belt I am sure it is going to happen.  I can guarantee you that the fucktard I see wearing this will get the appropriate response and won’t be happy about it.
Let’s get this straight right here and now.  If your imaginary god is a loving and caring god, he would intervene regardless of whether or not he is “allowed in schools”.  If he is all powerful, he is there anyway because those closed doors would be meaningless to him.  The fact that he is refusing to stop such tragedies “because he is not allowed in schools” would only prove that he is a spiteful, evil and bitter being, not the loving god you claim he is.  No matter how you spin it, your god is a prick for letting this happen.
Fortunately for us, all of those arguments are moot because your god simply does not exist.  These things don’t happen because he lets them or because he’s pissed of because prayer was removed from schools, they happen because there are evil people in the world and weapons are available to them that make these massacres too damned easy.  These things happen because fuckers in the religious right also fight to keep firearms in the hands of the public when they are not needed.  The worst thing is that the religious out there are actually gloating over this as though it vindicates them and proves that they are right in their beliefs and their god is backing them up by allowing this to happen.  This simply proves once again that the gods that they make up are nothing more than a reflection of how spiteful and evil people are who worship and create them in the first place.
